Summary
This early-phase trial tested YM-101 eye drops in 30 adults with dry eye syndrome. Participants received either the active drops or a placebo in a crossover design. The study measured changes in corneal staining, tear break-up time, and symptom scores over 4 weeks, along with safety monitoring. The goal was to see if YM-101 can safely ease dry eye symptoms.
