Summary
This Phase 3 trial tests a new antibiotic called YK-1169 against a standard treatment (ceftazidime-avibactam) for adults with pneumonia caught in the hospital or from a ventilator. About 590 participants will receive either drug for 7-14 days. The main goal is to see if YK-1169 lowers the chance of death within 28 days.
