Summary

This study tested whether a special yellow-light, anti-glare phone screen could reduce eye strain and dryness caused by reading in dim light. 70 adults with mild nearsightedness read on smartphones for two hours. The results showed that the yellow screen helped protect the eyes compared to a standard screen.
