Scientists probe why some vaccines Don't last
NCT ID NCT04269265
Summary
This study aimed to understand why some people's immune systems don't build strong, lasting protection from vaccines. Researchers gave the yellow fever vaccine to 43 healthy adults in Uganda and Minnesota. They collected tissue and blood samples to see if other ongoing infections damage the body's immune structures and weaken the vaccine response.
