New pill enters testing for devastating brain disorder
NCT ID NCT06848231
Summary
This study is testing a new oral medication called YA-101 for people with multiple system atrophy (MSA), a rare and progressive brain disorder. It aims to find a safe and effective dose and see if the drug can help slow down the worsening of symptoms like walking difficulty and movement problems. About 75 participants will receive either the real drug or a placebo pill, and neither they nor the doctors will know which one they are getting.
