First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study compared two types of spine surgery (XLIF and TLIF) in 55 adults with a slipped vertebra causing leg pain or trouble walking. The goal was to see which procedure led to better function and less pain over two years. Both surgeries aim to stabilize the spine and relieve symptoms, but neither is a cure.
