Summary
This study looks at how breathing in dust from the World Trade Center attacks may harm the heart and lungs of FDNY rescue workers. Researchers will measure blood markers and breathing tests in 100 first responders to understand these effects. The goal is to find early signs of disease and improve future treatments.
