Simple writing exercise may ease breast cancer Treatment's harsh side effects

NCT ID NCT04651452

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple writing exercise can help breast cancer patients better manage the difficult side effects of their medication and stick to their treatment plan. 250 women taking aromatase inhibitors will write short essays monthly for six months—some about their core personal values, others about daily routines. Researchers will track their physical symptoms, stress levels, and medication use to see if the writing helps improve their experience and adherence.
