Could writing workshops ease burnout for future medical professionals?
NCT ID NCT06000488
Summary
This study aimed to see if a reflective writing program, already used for medical students, could help reduce burnout in physician assistant (PA) students during their clinical training. Yale PA students would have attended small group workshops to write and share reflections guided by trained student facilitators. The goal was to measure changes in burnout levels and gather feedback on whether the program was helpful and acceptable for PA students, but the trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
