Can writing your life story improve your health?
NCT ID NCT02472379
Summary
UCLA researchers studied whether writing about personal experiences could affect physical health and well-being in older adults. They enrolled 78 healthy women aged 60 and older to write weekly for six weeks and provide blood samples. The goal was to see if this reflective writing changed markers of inflammation in the body or how people reported their own health and happiness.
