Can writing rewire your brain? UCLA seeks seniors to find out
NCT ID NCT05524597
Summary
UCLA researchers are studying how writing about personal experiences might influence brain function, stress levels, and body inflammation in healthy older adults. Participants aged 65+ will write weekly for six weeks and undergo brain scans and blood tests before and after the writing period. The goal is to understand the connection between expressive writing and mental and physical health in aging.
