Can a pen and paper ease the hidden scars of cancer?
NCT ID NCT06046014
Summary
This study tested if a simple, at-home writing program could help young cancer survivors (ages 15-39) who are struggling with body image distress and anxiety. The goal was to see if this four-week program was practical and acceptable for participants to use. The research aimed to fill a gap, as there are currently no recommended treatments specifically for body image issues in this group.
