Can writing about your values help control diabetes?
NCT ID NCT06348238
Summary
This study is testing if a simple writing exercise can help people with Type 2 diabetes feel less stigma and better manage their condition. About 150 adults will be randomly assigned to either complete a guided writing exercise about their personal values before doctor visits or to a waitlist group. Researchers will compare feelings of stigma, motivation, and blood sugar control between the groups over one year.
