Smartwatch for your heart? study tests wristband as potential heart scan alternative
NCT ID NCT04843371
Summary
This study is testing if a simple wristband can estimate how well the heart pumps blood, which is usually measured with an ultrasound machine. Researchers will enroll 500 adults who are already scheduled for a standard heart ultrasound. They will wear the wristband during their scan to see if its readings can accurately predict heart function and detect common heart problems.
