Gel shield tested to prevent painful tendon damage after broken wrist surgery
NCT ID NCT04976335
Summary
This study is testing whether placing a special dissolvable gel between a metal plate and wrist tendons can improve healing after wrist fracture surgery. Researchers will compare 50 patients who receive the gel during surgery to those who do not. They will measure how well the tendons move, check for tendon ruptures, and track patients' pain and wrist function during recovery.
