New bandage aims to heal tough cancer surgery wounds faster
NCT ID NCT06941194
Summary
This study is testing if a special single-use wound dressing can help prevent healing problems after surgery to remove limb sarcoma (a type of cancer). The dressing uses gentle suction to help the wound close. Researchers will compare this new dressing to standard gauze bandages in 48 patients to see which leads to fewer complications and better recovery.
