Summary

This study tested a special wound vacuum (negative pressure therapy) on 104 high-risk patients who had revision hip or knee replacement surgery. The goal was to see if it lowers the chance of surgical site infections. Results are not yet available, but the approach aims to improve healing and reduce complications.
