First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at how well the mouth heals after a tooth extraction in younger (14-18) and older (50-80) adults. Half of the participants will get a treatment made from their own blood, called platelet-rich fibrinogen, placed in the extraction site. Researchers will compare healing and bone growth between the groups to learn more about aging and wound repair.
