Summary
This study tested a software tool called ACE, designed to help nurses choose the right bandages and treatments for hard-to-heal wounds. Nurses at 18 primary care clinics used the tool for 9 months to see if it improved wound healing and saved money. Researchers compared results between nurses who used the software and those who did not, focusing on how quickly wounds closed and the cost of care.
