Night shifts and boredom at work could fuel gambling addiction, study investigates

NCT ID NCT07455981

Summary

This study aims to understand if working unusual hours (like night shifts) or having long periods of inactivity at work makes people more likely to develop risky gambling habits. Researchers will survey 1,600 employed adults in France who have gambled at least once in the past year. The goal is to gather knowledge about the link between job conditions and gambling problems, not to test a treatment.
