Computer vs. dentist: which numbing shot hurts less?
NCT ID NCT06852066
Summary
This study tested whether a computer-assisted numbing device causes less pain and anxiety than a standard dentist-administered shot during wisdom tooth removal. Forty healthy adults had both lower wisdom teeth removed, with each side receiving a different numbing technique. Researchers measured pain, anxiety, and vital signs like heart rate and blood pressure to see which method was more comfortable.
