Summary

This study looked at whether a drug called BYL719 can change certain signals inside head and neck cancer cells. Fifteen people with head and neck cancer took the drug for a short time before their planned surgery. Researchers compared tissue samples taken before and after treatment to see if the drug affected cancer-related markers.
