Researchers ask wilson disease patients: would you try gene editing?
NCT ID NCT07226622
Summary
This study aims to prepare for future gene editing trials for Wilson Disease, a genetic disorder that causes copper to build up in the body. It will enroll about 30 adults with the disease to complete a survey about their experiences and their interest in potential gene editing treatments. The study does not provide any new therapy; participants continue their standard care while helping researchers understand patient perspectives.
