Summary

This pilot study tests whether giving air cleaners and air quality monitors to 20 older adults with COPD can help them avoid flare-ups during smoky periods. Participants are Kaiser Permanente members who use oxygen and don't smoke. The main goal is to see if the approach is practical and if people will use the devices correctly.
