First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a medicine called Wilate can help prevent dangerous bleeding during childbirth in women with von Willebrand disease (VWD). About 110 pregnant women with VWD will receive Wilate to keep their clotting factor levels high during delivery and for several days after. The main goal is to see how many women have severe blood loss (over 1000 mL) within 24 hours after giving birth.
