First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study is for people with solid tumors that have spread to the lining of the brain and spinal cord (leptomeningeal metastasis). Researchers want to see if combining whole-brain radiation with a chemotherapy drug (thiotepa) given into the spinal fluid, along with ongoing treatment for the primary cancer, is safe and works better than previous approaches. About 58 adults will take part, and the study will track side effects and survival over time.
