First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether whole-body vibration therapy, given two weeks after a botulinum toxin injection, can reduce ankle stiffness and improve balance in people who have had a stroke. About 50 adults with ankle spasticity will either receive real vibration or a placebo. Researchers will measure changes in muscle activity, balance, and walking ability over 12 weeks.
