Radiation-Free scans aim to catch cancer early in High-Risk patients

NCT ID NCT02950987

Summary

This study is testing whether yearly full-body MRI scans can help find cancer early in people with inherited conditions that greatly increase their cancer risk, like Li-Fraumeni syndrome. It involves 150 adults and children who have these genetic risks, and they will get scanned once a year for four years. The goal is to see if this radiation-free method can spot cancers sooner, when they might be easier to treat.
