No-Equipment HIIT workout shows promise for overweight adults
NCT ID NCT07582718
First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a supervised 10-week whole-body high-intensity interval training (HIIT) program can improve cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle strength, body composition, and blood markers in adults aged 18-55 who are overweight or obese (BMI 25-35). Participants will do body-weight exercises in small groups led by trainers. The goal is to see if this time-efficient, equipment-free workout can be an accessible way to boost health in people with excess weight.
