Summary
This study tested whether using the World Health Organization (WHO) Trauma Care Checklist improves outcomes for adults with serious injuries. Sixty patients were randomly assigned to receive either standard care or care guided by the checklist. Researchers measured pain, injury severity, consciousness, complications, and recovery to see if the checklist made a difference.
