New labor monitoring tool tested against old standard
NCT ID NCT07445373
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will compare the WHO Labour Care Guide with the older modified partograph to see which one helps doctors and nurses monitor labor better. About 114 women in active labor will be randomly assigned to one of the two monitoring methods. The goal is to see if the new guide leads to shorter labor, fewer C-sections, and healthier babies.
