Summary
This study is testing whether using a whiteboard at a patient's bedside can help reduce feelings of anxiety and depression in people hospitalized with COPD, a serious lung disease. It will also see if the whiteboard improves how satisfied patients are with their nursing care. The researchers believe better communication between the care team and the patient using the whiteboard might lead to these benefits.
