NCT ID NCT07156721
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at whether placing a white reflective drape around newborns during light therapy (phototherapy) for jaundice helps lower bilirubin levels faster and reduces hospital stays. 102 babies (at least 34 weeks old) were randomly assigned to receive standard phototherapy with or without the drape. Researchers measured bilirubin levels at 4 and 24 hours to compare the two groups.
