NCT ID NCT06938425

First seen Nov 28, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests two needle-based treatments—intratissue percutaneous electrolysis and deep dry needling—added to standard physical therapy for whiplash from car accidents. 36 adults with neck pain and active trigger points will be compared to a group receiving only standard therapy. The goal is to see if these techniques reduce pain, improve muscle elasticity, and increase blood flow better than standard care alone.
