Can a milk protein boost your brain?

NCT ID NCT02082418

Summary

This study tested whether a single drink containing a special milk protein (alpha-lactalbumin) could improve mood and thinking skills in healthy older adults, including some with mild memory concerns. Researchers compared the effects of this protein to other proteins by measuring substances in the blood and giving memory tests. The goal was to see if this dietary change could help stabilize brain chemistry linked to mood and cognition.
