First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at the best time to start eating after a colon procedure called endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for removing large polyps or early cancers. About 204 adults will be randomly assigned to start eating within 24 hours or wait longer. The goal is to see which approach leads to fewer complications like bleeding, a shorter hospital stay, and higher patient satisfaction.
