Smart stethoscope: wearable patch aims to hear asthma Flare-Ups

NCT ID NCT06691971

Summary

This study is testing a wearable device called AeviceMD that listens to lung sounds to detect wheezing. Researchers want to see if the device is as accurate as a doctor listening with a stethoscope. The study will enroll 160 children (age 3+) and adults having an asthma flare-up. A secondary goal is to see if the device could allow a doctor to check lung sounds remotely.
