First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether removing wheat from the diet can reduce skin inflammation and stomach discomfort in people with mild-to-moderate psoriasis. About 82 adults will follow either a wheat-free diet or a regular diet for several weeks, and then some will try eating wheat again to see if symptoms return. The goal is to find out if wheat sensitivity plays a role in psoriasis and if a simple diet change can improve quality of life.
