This study involves 615 patients with severe hip or knee osteoarthritis who are eligible for joint replacement surgery. Researchers want to see if using a shared decision-making tool during doctor visits helps patients make more informed choices and feel more satisfied with their treatment. The study will track pain, physical function, quality of life, and satisfaction for up to one year after surgery.
