Ancient therapy tested for modern hormone disorder

NCT ID NCT07169292

Summary

This study aims to see if wet cupping therapy, a traditional practice, can help women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Researchers will compare 60 women receiving one wet cupping session plus lifestyle advice to a group receiving only lifestyle advice. They will check if the therapy improves menstrual cycles, reduces pain, helps with pregnancy, and affects hormone and blood sugar levels over 12 weeks.
