Summary

This study tests a program called Well-Mama, where specially trained community doulas use a checklist to help pregnant women get the care they need. About 576 pregnant women who are uninsured or on Medicaid will either get standard care or standard care plus the Well-Mama support. The goal is to see if the program helps women receive more recommended prenatal and postpartum care components.
