First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether trained peer educators can help more college students at HBCUs learn about and start taking PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. About 123 students aged 18-26 who are HIV-negative and not already on PrEP will take part. The goal is to see if this approach increases awareness and actual use of PrEP over 12 months.
