Summary

This study aims to find out if a very intensive, 2-year weight loss program works as well as bariatric surgery for adults with severe obesity. The program includes meal replacements, behavioral coaching, and weight-loss medications. The results will help guide future treatment options for people who currently only have surgery as an effective choice.
