Stitch in time: new procedure aims to help cancer survivors shed dangerous weight
NCT ID NCT07397624
Summary
This study is testing a less invasive weight loss procedure for obese women who have completed curative treatment for endometrial cancer. Researchers want to see if an endoscopic stomach-suturing technique, combined with lifestyle changes, is a safe and feasible way to help these women lose weight. The goal is to reduce their risk of obesity-related health problems, which are a major cause of death for endometrial cancer survivors.
