Study tests drugs, surgery, and extreme diet to extend lives
NCT ID NCT06410352
Summary
This study aims to find out which weight loss method—medication, surgery, or a very strict diet—works best to improve health and potentially extend life for people with metabolic syndrome. It will compare these three approaches in 150 adults over 24 weeks, measuring weight loss, blood sugar, blood pressure, and other health markers. The goal is to see which method is most effective and cost-efficient for long-term disease management.
