Could unexplained weight loss be an early warning sign for lung cancer?

Summary
This study aims to see if people with unexplained weight loss who get lung cancer screening are more likely to have or develop lung cancer than those without weight loss. Researchers will use low-dose CT scans and blood tests to try to detect lung cancer earlier in high-risk smokers. The goal is to improve screening methods to catch cancer at more treatable stages.
