New weight loss shot SRSD384 tested in early human trials

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug, SRSD384, to see if it is safe and how it works in people who are overweight or obese. The study has two parts: one tests the drug alone, and the other tests it together with another weight loss drug, tirzepatide, in people who also have type 2 diabetes. About 78 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo as a shot under the skin.
