Summary
This study tests a new medicine called HDM1005, given as a weekly injection, to help Chinese adults with obesity or overweight lose weight. About 825 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 52 weeks, along with diet and exercise advice. The main goal is to see how much weight they lose and if at least 5% of body weight is lost by week 40.
