Could a single weekly shot replace daily insulin injections?
NCT ID NCT06767761
Summary
This study is testing if a new experimental insulin called GZR4, given just once a week, works as well and is as safe as the standard daily insulin injections for people with type 2 diabetes. It will involve about 580 adults who are already using a combination of long-acting and mealtime insulin. The main goal is to see which treatment better controls long-term blood sugar levels.
