Weekly shot could replace daily injections for Kids' growth

NCT ID NCT04970654

Summary

This study tested if a new weekly growth hormone injection (somapacitan) works as well as the standard daily injection (Norditropin®) for children with growth hormone deficiency. It involved 110 Chinese children who received either the weekly or daily treatment for one year. The goal was to see if the easier weekly schedule could help children grow just as effectively.
